The Asian Television Awards has revealed that Malaysian celebrities Jeryl Lee Pei Ling and Earnie Zakri will be making a grand appearance at the 25th Asian Television Awards, exposing Malaysian talents to the South East Asian market.
This year marks the 25thanniversary of the Asian Television Awards. With Covid-19 in mind, the Awards will be announcing a revised show format.
Initially planned to be held in Phnom Penh after successfully holding the Awards in Malaysia and Philippines, the coming 25th edition of the Awards will not have physical gatherings. Instead of the 3-day format adopted since the 23rd Asian Television Awards, the 25th Asian Television Awards will be held over 2 days on Friday and Saturday, 15 and 16 January 2021.
This year, the Awards will be hosted by Wallace Ang and Benjamin Josiah Tan from Singapore, Ji Xiao Jun from China, Anyarin Terathananpat from Thailand and Rennie Lau from Malaysia.
The confirmed line up of performers at press time are Alfred Sng, Sherraine Law, Haven and Emiliano Cyrus from Singapore. From Malaysia we have Ernie Zakri and Lee Pei Ling. Dat Ozy from Vietnam will also be performing as well as Sam Concepcion from the Philippines. These 8 performers will be performing across the 2 days bringing us their latest songs and music.
